Yesterday, I was inspired by one of my triathlete friends (Marlene) to create a 2025 Bingo card. The task was simple: fill the 25 squares with realistic, wild or silly goals for the year.
What a great idea! I have never really seen the point in New Year’s resolutions; if I think I need to change something in my life, I do, but I don’t wait until January 1st to resolve to become a better person. Similarly, I am constantly setting goals, revising them, and working towards them throughout the year and across the years; I don’t need to set a new goal simply because it’s January 1st.
A Bingo Card, though? That is something I can stand behind. What do I want to do this year? What is something that would be fun to do, or something that might happen, or something that just makes me feel good? Within minutes, I sat down and made my list (which was harder than I expected it to be), then started to create a doc. “Wait!” I thought. “I bet I can make something pretty with Canva!” Learning new computer and related skills is something that I want to work on this year and, yes, I did include something along those lines on my Bingo card.

An hour of fun (and, admittedly, with a bit of frustration) later, I proudly finished. Ironically, creating a Bingo card on Canva wasn’t on my list but it should have been as I just learned to do this last night. Some spaces appear to be blank but I removed those as I want to keep them to myself – for now. I will publically share them by the end of the year and I hope that you will have fun trying to figure out what they are. What are your guesses?
